AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4G

Nikon has just announced a new low-light prime lens, the AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4G.
This latest addition to the NIKKOR lineup features a large maximum aperture of f/1.4, enabling it to be used for easy handheld shooting in dark settings, such as a dimly lit room. It also allows photographers to easily create beautiful large blur effects. The lens’ Silent Wave Motor (SWM) ensures quick, quiet autofocus. Autofocus shooting is made possible with SLR models that do not have a built-in motor, such as the D40 series and D60.
The AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4G is a high-performance large-aperture, single-focal-length lens especially suitable for professional and advanced amateurs who use Nikon FX-format cameras such as the D3 and D700, and frequently shoot human subjects as well as night landscapes and astronomy. What’s more, when attached to a DX-format SLR, this f/1.4 lens with 75mm equivalent picture angle is capable of shooting portraits with beautiful blur effects.

No one stands like this, hands behind their back but unclasped, unless their hands have been cuffed;
this beheaded mannequin could be read as a symbol of slavery and abuse! Or
maybe it stands as an idol to the sensual beauty of women? Few women that have
heads and minds can compete with the perfection of form of this store dummy,
and those that might can only do so for a brief number of years. A decapitated dummy does not make for
good conversation or a meaningful relationship; I prefer the company and shapes of real women.

Maloman Photographers Wedding Photography

I wouldn't normally thank you for wedding photography. Normally I would rather claw my own eyes out than look at another boring set of photographs.

However, I would definately make an exception with Maloman Photographers. This is not your usual 50 people squeezed in together in front of a church, but a series of interesting and nicely executed shots which are just a little bit different from the norm.
